The HYDRA X 8S is based on Castle's popular and powerful Mamba Monster X 8S. They've removed the air cooled heatsink and added a water-cooled heatsink. The final touch is an aluminum top plate that gives it a sleek and polished appearance. Attached to the top plate are two .17 aluminum water fittings and uses standard 10-32 UNF threads. The HYDRA X 8S is the ultimate enhancement that propels high-performance monohulls, up to 36 inches in length, to new heights.

This is the Castle Link Quick Connect from Castle Creations. Experienced modelers go to great pains to tie down their servo and throttle leads, and some find unplugging a Castle controller from the receiver disrupts all their work. Many have asked for something like a Y connector that gives an open lead for easy Castle linking, but a traditional Y harness doesn't work when the other branch of the Y is connected to a receiver - the signal line must be disconnected from the receiver.

Power Efficiency! CC CapPack is useful in all brushless motor applications, where it serves to give just that little boost needed to overcome ripples in the battery voltage caused by hard acceleration or long battery wires. Ripple voltage is hard on an ESC - adding the CC CapPack can help reduce the load on the controller's on-board capacitors. This CapPack uses three 560uF, 35V capacitors totaling 1680uF, which increases its ripple reducing capabilities.
