More power. Less weight. If ever there was a recipe to make a motorcyclist smile, that would be it. For the release of the 2017 Kawasaki Z900, Spurgeon made his way out to San Diego to be on the scene as the latest entrant into the Z family made its debut. To make the Z900 the cornerstone it was intended to be, Kawasaki had to re-think things from the ground up. The new frame is a marvel of minimalist design, weighs only 30 lbs, and is strapped with an engine that puts out 18% more torque at 7,700 rpm and roughly 10% more horsepower than its predecessor. Not too shabby at all.
